After some time, we have decided on a free website platform where we have control and ownership over our information. This platform is an exiting way for us to post what is happening, our initiatives, steps forward and information in support of Indigenous students and decolonization in general!

This website is like a living entity of our dedication, care and desire to see all Indigenous student's, their intersecting identities and dreams, properly supported in their university studies.

We will slowly be adding more information, invitation's to join or connect via peer-mentorship and networking and advocacy actions. We want to hear from you - the Indigenous, Métis, Inuit, mixed-background people and allies, of all ages and identities. How can we make our student experience at Athabasca University better?

And how can we grow and support a strong network of students, undergraduate, graduate, alumni and associated circles? Indigenous people thrive in connection and community. Let's build that community!

We are excited and hopeful on this embarking journey.

We are the Wîcihitowin Student Alliance. A group of First Nations and Métis students studying with Athabasca University from across Turtle Island, open to all Indigenous, Métis and Inuit students. Our group is not associated with the students' union, university or other groups and functions as an independent, yet collective student alliance!

This site and all of it's contents belong to the members of the Wîcihitowin AU Indigenous Student Alliance.
